My Dearest Dennis,

I find it almost impossible to believe that you have been gone for eight years! I am finally able to actually talk/write about it without breaking down. I honestly thought that I would never be happy again when you suddenly left this world! I have so many wonderful memories of you! You were my big brother, and my best friend! It was so difficult for me to even imagine a world without you in it!

You would be so proud of Susan! She worked very hard to choose happiness, allthough she still misses you so very much! Your children are grown with families of there own, and you have seven beautiful grand children. Brittney, your baby, got married in March, and you must have sent this wonderful guy to her! He's great, and she is so happy!

Our family is growing by leaps and bounds, and your name is mentioned so often! We always tell funny stories about you, or talk about what a fantastic Daddy, husband, doctor, brother, etc. you were! There isn't a family function ever, that your name doesn't come up! Your patients still talk about you at the office...they see Tom now...and you wouldn't believe all the changes in medicine!!!

I have connected with some of your highschool friends from your class on this silly thing called Facebook...but it somehow makes me feel closer to you!

Most importantly, I still miss you so much! I think about you every day.I miss your smile! I miss your tender way. I know what you would say to me on so many occasions...I can still feel your wonderful advice, feel your unconditional love, and feel your beautiful heart! You were the best big brother ever! There really aren't any words powerful enough to express how special I think you are, and how very, very much I will always love you! My heart has never been the same since you left, but you would be proud that I mananged to become my positive self again, and somehow got my sparkle back!

With Love and Light,

Your little sister,

Jana
