I remember Robert transferring in to AHHS. I got to know him pretty well our junior and senior years. A genuinely nice, and very witty, guy. I still remember his jokes and smile even now.

Robert Edward Rex was his name, but we just called him "Rex". He transferred to Heights his junior year, so he really wasn't well known to a lot of people in our class. Fraser Graham and I got to know him pretty well during college at UT, however, and he turned out to be one funny guy! I remember Rex as always coming up with witty or sarcastically funny one-liners to fit just about any situation. There is a picture of him on page 186 of the '69 Olmos pretending to cut Jim Ryan's head off with a paper cutter. I never really saw him again after he got married, but I wish that he was here now to come to our 40th reunion. He had the kind of personality that could lift everyone's spirits, and make the good times that much better!
