Pamela Christe Obituary

Pamela Christe
February 8, 1952 - March 7, 2026
Pamela Christe passed away peacefully, surrounded by love.

Pam was known for her warmth, kindness, and the genuine way she connected with others. She had a gift for making people feel seen and valued, building meaningful relationships throughout her life that reflected her caring spirit.

She dedicated many years of her career to education, earning her degree in Elementary Education from the University of Texas at Austin and later a Master of Arts from the University of the Incarnate Word. She began as an art teacher and later served as a diagnostician with Edgewood, Judson, and San Antonio Independent School Districts. Even after retiring, she continued working part-time and remained committed to the students she served.

Pam will be remembered for her gentle presence, her love of family, and the way she consistently showed up for others with sincerity and heart. Those who knew her will carry forward the memories, conversations, and quiet moments that made her who she was.

Pam grew up in Alamo Heights and cherished her lifelong connection to Lake McQueeney-from childhood days learning to ski, to sharing countless family moments, to later years spent enjoying time at the Ski Lodge with friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Curtis Christe; her mother, Marianna Shaw Christe; her sister, Janis Christe; and her husband, Karl ("Pooky").

She is survived by her niece, Lauren Reed Moldowan, whom she loved like a daughter; Lauren's husband, Marc; her great-nephew Chase and her great-niece Liesel, who were so special to her. She was also a beloved family member and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A family graveside service was held at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, March 31 at 1:00 PM at
Lake Breeze Ski Lodge, 225 Ski Lodge Rd,
McQueeney, TX 78123.

All who knew Pam are welcome to attend and share in remembering her life.

The family encourages you to take a moment to connect with someone you love or reflect on a meaningful memory-something Pam did so naturally. Memorial contributions may be made to McQueeney Baptist Church, where Pam's faith and fellowship were an important part of her life.
Pam's life and memory will continue in the hearts of those she touched.
