In Memory

James Corrigan

I have enjoyed reading the profiles on this site,
but am saddened that we have lost so many classmates. Jimmy
Corrigan and I were roommates in college, and friends since
4th grade.  Bob Ogilvie

Jimmy was one of the sweetest and funniest people I ever knew. If there was any possibility of pulling a gag on someone, Jimmy was probably behind it. In addition to school, we also went to church together. In middle school, we attended a youth group at Alamo Heights Methodist called MYF. Everyone else tried to be so pious and good. Not Jimmy. And altough the meetings weren't boring, they became downright hysterical because of him. He wasn't disrespectful---just funny. In high school, so many of us were absorbed in our own angst and pathetic problems, and walking down the hallways sometimes seemed like a contest to see who could have the saddest expression. I remember Jimmy walking down South Wing with the biggest smile and always laughing. What a joy he was in our lives.
