I attended SMU for both undergrad and an MBA, and flew for Braniff for 8 years while working on the MBA.

We moved to New Orleans in 1983 and stayed until August 29th, 2005 (Katrina).

I just started an investment advisory firm in Baton Rouge after selling my ownership in a firm in Metairie. It's nice after 5 years to no longer be commutting to New Orleans,

I raised 2 children in New Orleans, which was a load of fun for Mardi Gras when Chris became the favorite of his UT frat. Both know how to eat crawfish.
