Yes! Attending Reunion
Comments:

I wish I could have been able to attend the 40th Class Reunion and The Homecoming of the Century. It would have been great to see all of you. Wow, 40 years went in a hurry! Have a great time!

After high school graduation in 1969, I attended The University of Texas at Austin where I graduated with a B.A. Degree in Biology in 1973. After college graduation, I worked in Austin and Houston. After returning to Austin, I married Mike Colchin in 1976 and started a family -- a son and a daughter. Mike was a hydrogeologist hired by Shell Oil Co. in 1978 when they were located in Denver, CO. We lived in Lakewood, CO from 1978 to 1984, when we moved to Evergreen, CO, where I still live today. I divorced in 1990 and later returned to school to obtain my paralegal certificate in 1994. I worked as a paralegal until earlier this year when I was diagnosed with a pituitary disorder. I have a wonderful "significant other" in my life who is very supportive. He has helped through a house fire in 2005 and health issues. Life is beautiful in Colorado!

School Story:

I enjoyed being the piccolo player in the band. I actually still play it and the flute on occasion. A "funny" high school memory is that I was the only female in my physics class, demonstrating my feminist side (even though I've always been a strong conservative!).

I knew Nina off and on since junior high.  She was always positive and friendly.  She recently contacted me through our class website.  I was so happy to hear from her, and I was looking forward to staying in touch.  Ed's tribute to Nina was so poignant, and it revealed how much Nina was loved.  She lived such a full and happy life.  The way she lived life is truly an inspiration.  I will always think of her joyous spirit when I look at the stars.

I am shocked and saddened by the news of the loss of Randy.  I knew him at both Alamo Heights Junior High and High School.  He was such a pleasant, friendly, and happy person.  I'm happy that he led such a successful, love-filled life.  May God comfort his family and friends at thi difficult time. ~~ Chris Park

Evergreen officially received 13" of snow during the evening and morning (more in some areas), with more snow to come on Sunday! These photos were taken from my west-facing deck this morning. At least we receive a lot of sunshine most of the time! Happy 50th Class Reunion in warm San Antonio!

Charlie Darrah and I have enjoyed meeting Phil Wetz and his wife, Linda, in 2018 and 2019, in Georgetown, Colorado, at a cute restaurant called Cooper's on the Creek (the location of the photo). It is enlightening to share high school experiences with Phil. I have lived in beautiful Colorado for 41 years (Evergreen for 35 of those years), but I still feel very Texan!

Thank you, Randy, for all of your hard work on maintaining the class website and for your work on the class reunion! I have re-established some friendships through the website. I wish I could join the reunion activities. I am so impressed that so many classmates will attend. I'm sure it will be successful and fun for many to get reacquainted or to solidify long-term friendships.
Thank you in advance for downloading photos taken at the 50th Class Reunion! Have a great time!

I am very saddened by the news of Bill Telotte's passing.  He was one of the happiest, most pleasant people at Heights.  We exchanged birthday greetings not too long ago.  I had no idea that he had such a heartbreaking disease.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

I'm very sorry for your loss, Marie. I am deeply saddened by the news. Don was a special, gifted person who was full of life and well liked and admired by many. I pray you will receive peace and comfort and that you take good care of yourself during this difficult time. May God bless you and your family.

I love the photo! I live in Evergreen, CO. We had some of the most beautiful colors this fall that I have seen since I have lived in CO for 36 years! While it is gorgeous near me, I always head further west to Kenosha Pass and into Breckenridge to observe the colorful aspens. Silverton is another magical area! The attached photo is from Kenosha Pass. Have a great time at the reunion tomorrow! I wish I could be there.
